Made from reclaimed barn wood displaying various types of age. Displaying a dark Brown, dark reddish orange hue, many different planks are expertly joined together to create an interesting display of reclaimed wood. Two large, heavy duty, turnbuckles used as cross members add intrigue and also solidify the table. The base is made from two sturdy 6'' x 6'' posts, some featuring (optional) a mortise with a wood spike from the original constructors of the barn the wood was reclaimed from. The two forms of construction engineering (Turnbuckles, Mortise) , one from the past and one from the present, work well together and are a snapshot of the evolution of our construction methods.
